Effective November 1, 2025 due to high demand, emergency food boxes will be distributed to walk-ins on Mondays only between 8 am and 5 pm. Our emergency food boxes are for neighbors who need food and cannot wait until Wednesday when our pantry is open.

Our food pantry is a "choice" food pantry where neighbors in need are allowed to shop for products they like instead of receiving a box or sack of standard items. The pantry is open on Wednesdays from 9 am to 11:00 am and 3 pm to 6:00 pm.

Effective December 15, 2025, Peora Area Food Pantry will no longer deliver to the homebound due to a lack of capacity for the service. However, we will accept food pick up by proxy. Click the button below to complete a proxy form and submit. The person you designate to pick up your food (the proxy) must then state that they are your proxy
Effective December 15, 2025, Peora Area Food Pantry will no longer deliver to the homebound due to a lack of capacity for the service. However, we will accept food pick up by proxy. Click the button below to complete a proxy form and submit. The person you designate to pick up your food (the proxy) must then state that they are your proxy when they arrive at the pantry and show their ID. Pantry staff will look up your form to confirm. The proxy will not be able to receive food for a recipient if the proxy form cannot be located. Only one proxy per household is allowed. Proxy forms must be submitted 24 hours in advance of the proxy picking up.
